How to mark alerts as ignored

Highlightbox

You can mark specific alerts in your Digital Service Manager account as “ignored.” This allows you to hide device errors that are still present on the customer's device but are no longer relevant to you as you work through your alert list. This action also resets the error status of the corresponding device in your customer's ConnectedCooking account.

Note: Ignoring alerts has no effect on the error situation on the physical device in the kitchen. If there is still an error on the device, you cannot reset it with this function! Only when errors have actually been resolved through remote or on-site troubleshooting is the information automatically transmitted to ConnectedCooking or Digital Service Manager.

Solution steps:

  1. Click on “Alerts” and then on the alert you want to ignore.
  2. In the detailed view of the alert, click on “...” in the top right-hand corner and then on “Ignore alert.”
  3. A window will open. Here you can add a comment explaining why you want to ignore this alert, so that your colleagues can understand your action. This note will later be visible to all your service colleagues who have access to this device. Your customer will not see your reason.

This action cannot be undone manually. The status of this alert will only be changed to “resolved” by the device itself.

View all ignored alerts:

  1. Click on “Alerts”
  2. In the “Ignored” tab, you will find an overview of all alerts that you have hidden.
