How to use baskets effectively?

In ConnectedCooking, baskets can be used to bundle standardized cooking programs and assign them to devices. This example shows how to use a breakfast-based basket effectively in kitchen planning with MyDisplay.


1. Start in ConnectedCooking

  • Go to the ConnectedCooking homepage
  • Navigate to Device Managementbreadcrumb dividerMyDisplaybreadcrumb dividerOverview

2. Create a MyDisplay

  • Click the red button to create a new MyDisplay
  • Name it (e.g., Vovo Kitchen Early Shift)
  • Select the required device for the basket
  • Click Save

3. Create screen for the basket

  • Click the three-dot menu and select Screens
  • Enter a title
  • Choose a suitable zoom factor
  • Optionally: add an image
  • Click Save

4. Add basket

  • Click the red plus, select Add cooking program
  • Choose the appropriate basket (e.g., Breakfast)
  • Click Save

5. Configure user profile for early shift

  • Back to three-dot menu > Edit
  • The main user has full permissions by default
  • Click Plus to create a new user profile
  • Activate only the Breakfast basket in the menu bar
  • Deactivate:
    • Create/edit screens
    • Password access
    • iCareSystem parameters
    • Favorites
  • Click Save

6. Roll out settings to device

  • Click Three-dot menu > Rollout
  • Select time and target group for the rollout
  • Click Save

7. Finalize on the device

  • On the device: confirm changes with green checkmark
  • Select the early shift user
  • The "Breakfast" basket is now ready to use
